ah man... been so tired lately. i dunno what's wrong with me. i fall asleep each night around 1130pm! feel like an old lady now seeing as how i wasn't like this before. i would work and go to school and still not sleep until around 3 or 4 in the morning. but now my grandma body has taken over and i can't seem to keep my peepers open past midnight. tang makes fun of me every night when it nears 1130pm. he picks on me cuz i fall asleep way earlier than him. then i try to prove him wrong by attempting to stay up, but it's such a poor effort since i can't seem to fight the droopy eyes... and my body eventually gives in and i'm knocked out for the night. maybe i need to start running again for more energy so i can stay up later.
the new job's okay only. it's still not the greatest thing alive, but i think i can stick with it for a little bit. the doctor is still his anal, compulsive self... but at least i'm rid of him for a week. he's going to hawaii for a mini vacation with his family. he's in the process of opening an optical in galleria mall, and possibly having a doctor there for eye exams for a half day or so... so when he gets back from hawaii he'll be preoccupied with running his current office and getting the other one set up. that's why he figured this would be the best time for him to take a vacation. which only translates to crap hours for me all this week.  i'm off an additional day, and i go in later on tuesday and thursday. cutting of the hours = lower paycheck...yuck. aww well. hopefully i can start picking up more hours once he gets this other place up and running.
went to watch a fc dallas soccer game at the new pizza hut park in frisco at the beginning of this month. celebrated nhat's 21st birthday and me and tang's two month.  had these loud bunch of drunken guys in front of us that made the game more entertaining. but me, tang, jim, and lil kim did our deed that day and got nhat to pass out in the car on the way home... haha.
     
then that next weekend went bar hopping with the girls to celebrate mary getting her new job at the richland health center (yay mary!) and spent time with joanna (since she was back in town from california). was so tired from work that day that i barely drank anything and was still getting drowsy at the bars. even got pluckers later on that night but i ended up knocking out on al's bed when we brought it back to chris's house.
     
tang took me to see john legend, common, and de la soul at the gypsy tea room last monday. we were there only for a little bit and then i turned around and saw joanna standing there drooling at common! didn't even know that she was gonna be there. no cameras were allowed... so i couldn't take any pictures. i've loved music since i was a little one singing my heart out in choir. so, i've always wanted to explore music that i don't normally listen to. i'm starting to take a liking to tang's music selection. 
had a pot luck dinner at joanna's house last wednesday before she left to go back to california again. had a wide variety of food anywhere from fried rice to popeye's chicken to sushi. our tummies were so full after we got done eating, but we still fit in cheesecake and italian creme cake.  good food and girl talk that night. it was good having joanna back in town... and even better hearing that she survived her first year of law school. glad to know that she's still happy and doing well and got to come back to 'ol dallas for a visit.
